SENovation Award 2025: NOX Wins in Dortmund

The SENovation Award 2025 honored innovative ideas for independent living in later life in Dortmund, with start-up NOX taking the top prize.

On September 11, 2025, the SENovation Award was presented in Dortmund for the eighth time. The competition honors ideas that make everyday life easier for older people and open up new ways of thinking about aging. Among 43 applicants, the start-up NOX took the top spot.

What makes the SENovation Award special is its concept. Up to the semifinals, senior citizens themselves choose the projects that convince them most. In the final round, the finalists present their ideas to a panel of experts. This approach ensures that the voices and experiences of the target group play a central role, making the award stand out from other innovation competitions.
